Reporting to the Director of Programme Delivery you will have held a post as a senior IT Risk Manager having had resposponsibility for the development of policy, strategy, processes, methods and procedures so that the best practices for Risk Management are applied across the £150M portfolio of IM enabled policy led programmes.

To engage senior stakeholders in the Department and national organisations to gain their understanding of and commitment to foster and support the use of best practice in Risk Management to initiatives under their remit.

To promote, advocate and advise on the application of benchmarked best practice that is 'fit for purpose' for a particular programme, and work with the business owners and programme directors to ensure that these practices are applied.

To assure the application of policies, processes, methods and procedures across programmes for area of expertise, providing guidance and coaching as required and instituting initiatives and actions to address identified deficiencies in Risk Management.

To provide portfolio level interventions on the specification, design, resourcing and delivery of the outputs and outcomes related to Risk Management.
