This leading UK aerospace organisation, a recognised leader in its field, has undertaken a programme of strategic development and business change that will provide the foundation for increased profitable earnings over the next five years.

The organisation has created and invested significantly in a number of new business units and now requires a talented Head of Finance to manage all aspects of the financial and commercial functions of the Technology Products and Services business unit.

The Opportunity:

• Reporting to the Business Unit MD, you will establish robust financial processes and controls to provide detailed planning & analysis and advice that will support the business in achieving its objectives
• You will take responsibility for purchasing, contractual, legal and finance teams accountable for ensuring their contribution and the development of their expertise
• As a key member of the senior management team, with a dotted line responsibility into the Group FD, you will provide full contribution to the overall direction and management of the Business Unit

Your Credentials:

• Degree educated, you will have strong commercial and business acumen and a demonstrable track record of success in a Commercial or Finance Management role
• You will be a strong team player who is able to provide sound business and commercial leadership to be aligned with sound financial control and commercial practice
• Exposure to the aerospace, technology or manufacturing industry is desirable as this will enable you to make a very strong contribution to the wider organisation
