The Role

Boxwood's Project Managers are tenacious, assertive and values driven. They are extremely confident in dealing with a mix of people and demanding clients. Typically, they will work on 2 - 3 different projects during the year. Boxwood's Project Managers, like the rest of the delivery team, will move through projects in different sectors, applying Boxwood modes of work and functional expertise to a range of environments, ensuring that experience in other sectors is of benefit to the client. Above all, Boxwood's delivery team are used to adapting spontaneously to new and highly challenging clients - they are confident about their ability to solve the problem and therefore are not afraid to coach and advise a diverse range of stakeholders.

Practical Experience

At assessment, as well as the above, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• A first degree (2.1 or stronger), preferably coupled with a postgraduate qualification in your area of expertise, or an MBA, MSc, PhD.
• Experience managing at least 3 - 4 large scale delivery programmes, gained either in industry or with a leading consultancy
• A track record in performance improvement and business transformation, on projects that have made an undeniable difference to your client’s business
• Experience as primary interface with internal or external clients at board level
• Strong and adaptable communication skills
• Commercial acumen and the ability to discuss financial data confidently and spontaneously
• Experience in at least three of the following areas: Business Modelling; Business Case Development; Logistics and Supply Chain; Procurement; IT Enabled Change;
