This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the National Fraud Authority [NFA] which is a government agency committed to reducing the harm to the UK from fraud. The NFA ensures a holistic and strategic response to the threats caused by fraud which is now estimated to cost £30 Billion per annum.

Action Fraud (formally The National Fraud Reporting Centre), was launched in 2009 to provide fraud victims with a one stop shop service where they can report fraud and gain valuable support and advice.

The Head of Operational Delivery is a newly created pivotal role, giving you the chance to make a real difference as you will play an important part in shaping and influencing the future strategy, vision and continued growth of the organisation. You will be focused on delivering excellent customer service, overseeing the smooth efficient operational running of the end to end service, developing and raising the profile of the organisation and engaging with a range of internal and external senior stakeholders within a complex policy driven environment.

This is a senior management level role; we are looking for candidates with strong commercial experience and business management skill which may also be in operational service delivery within a Government body.

You will have proven experience in leading operational delivery of a function or service preferably in a complex policy environment. You will be responsible for the reporting of accurate and timely information on fraudulent activity. Experience of managing an out-sourced call centre function would be highly advantageous. You will have the ability to influence and make a positive impact at a senior level across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrable experience of managing third party suppliers as well as contract and financial management expertise is required.
