Our client is a large outsourcing, consulting and systems integration business. They have a well recognised brand and a reputation for first class delivery. They are looking to hire a Programme Manager/ Director to join their Global Delivery business unit.
You will be joining a horizontal team providing business benefits by delivering major programs. You will be a career Program Manager, with an excellent understanding of the business drivers and challenges facing service providers.
You will be managing and successfully delivering large IT and change programs (at least £8 Mill pa) within existing accounts across Europe.
You will also have an excellent understanding of the IT systems environment supporting the business. Also a thorough understanding of the offshore delivery model.
You will have a good understanding of Formal Program management methods.
With excellent domain knowledge, you will be well versed in presales support and managing large teams with multiple Project Managers.
Essential Requirements for the role:
• A high quality degree from a reputable institution.
• At least 10 years Programme Management experience with programs delivered exceeding £8m pa.
• 5+ years formal Programme Management experience
• MUST have experience of the off-shore delivery model (applications without this will not be considered)
• MUST be based in the UK and open to European travel
• Experience managing large scale & strategic projects & programs for clients
• You will have worked with Utilities, Telcommunications, Retail or Banking/Financial Services clients
• Your background will demonstrate a working experience of Infrastructure and Business Transformation Services
• An MBA, Program Management certificate or Prince2/PMI qualification would be advantageous
