He will transition to a role working for the Owner's Operating team to prepare the Project for commissioning, and start-up and operations working for a senior Kazakh General Director.<br><br>The responsibilities will include guidance and coordination of the Owner’s team with regards to:<br>- Acting as a senior mentor for the Operating Company General Director<br>- Leadership in HSE, operational readiness and training programs for process plant personnel <br>- Liaison with the feasibility study engineer <br>- Supervision of metallurgical test programs<br>- Leadership of the Owner process plant development in the Engineer's office<br>- Evaluation, selection, and purchasing of plant equipment <br>- Specifications of process services, utilities and infrastructure <br>- Liaison with engineering, procurement, contracts and construction personnel for implementation of the process plant<br><br>Individual Attributes:<br><br>To succeed in this role the individual appointed will need to be a metallurgical engineer with an experience in developing feasibility studies and process plant operations with a particular emphasis on large scale process plants. This individual will be a senior manager at the site and must demonstrate significant executive presence.<br><br>The person appointed will also be someone with the personal and intellectual stature capable of rapidly establishing his/her presence within a local former Soviet management structure.
