Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions cover basic, premium and corporate membership of executive-i. These should be read carefully and by accessing and continuing to use the executive-i Site you are agreeing and demonstrating acceptance to these terms and conditions in your personal capacity and/ or on behalf of your company or firm: therefore do not continue to use the Site if you do not accept or agree to them.

We may at any time revise these terms and conditions without notice, and therefore they should be regularly checked. The continued use of the Site after a change has been made is your acceptance of the change.

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of this Site by any third party. Such restrictions or inhibitions include, without limitation, conduct which is unlawful, or which may harass or cause distress or inconvenience to any person, and the transmission of obscene or offensive content or disruption to the normal flow of dialogue within this Site.

Information collected is used for internal review, to improve or customise the content and/or layout of the Site, and to provide information services to the Site Users. It is not shared with other organisations for commercial purposes.

Our responsibilities and liabilities to you in providing this Site and any associated services are limited as set out in our disclaimer notice.

Notices may be sent to you by email concerning updates and new services on the Site. We recommend you add the executive-i.com Domain to your email Safe Senders List to ensure you receive all communications through executive-i.

Basic executive membership (free):

As a basic member you have access to an extensive range of senior executive job opportunities and career information together with the facility to network with reputable executive search firms.

Through our standard membership you will have exposure to leading, reputable search firms and consultants in your market through the executive-i search network.

Premium executive membership:

As a premium member you are able to:

• Have access to an extensive range of senior executive opportunities... first... with advanced search facilities.
• Have access to diverse market, company and career management intelligence through our unique forum.
• Network with our exclusive, premium network of both executive and corporate members, relevant to your market.
• Gain exposure to an extensive array of leading, reputable search consultants in your market.
• Gain exposure to an extensive range of news and unadvertised business opportunities through the forum.
• Have access to our enhanced search facilities, giving superior rankings within the executive search network.
• Perform more tailored company and search firm research and networking.
• Career, image and CV consultancy services (for 3 month subscriptions and above only)

Corporate membership (employer):

As an employer with corporate membership you are part of a unique club of professionals and corporations, offering the following:

• Company profile giving your firm free exposure and branding aligned with your market, including your logo.
• Facility to post all live senior executive vacancies that your firm is handling (£60k plus).
• Access to our unique executive-i forum and ability to publish your company news, events and white papers.
• Our research team search for your relevant requirements for publication on the portal.

Corporate membership (search firm):

As a search firm with corporate membership you are part of a unique club of professionals and corporations, offering the following:

• Unlimited free access to our headhunting network and forum with access to 1000s of senior executive members.
• Company/ Consultant profile giving your firm free exposure and branding aligned with your market, including your logo.
• Facility to post all live senior executive vacancies that your firm is handling (£60k plus).
• Access to our unique executive-forum and ability to publish your company news, events and white papers.
• Our research team search for your relevant requirements for publication on the portal.

By becoming a corporate search firm or corporate company member your company or firm is granting executive-i a non-exclusive free licence for us to reproduce and exhibit to our premium members all or any part of the job descriptions advertised on your website and any job descriptions submitted to us by your firm.

You would also be able to load your company or firm logo onto the Site or permit us to do so, in which case you are also granting executive-i a non-exclusive free licence for us to display your logo on the Site.

Additional corporate member services:

executive-i also offers additional services to corporate members that we charge for*:

• Sponsorship of our executive member emails:
  • Our weekly member email that goes out to senior executive members.
  • Our automatic subscription confirmation emails that are sent to all executive members.
• Advertising on select areas of the public (unrestricted) part of the site that all non-members can view:
  • Home page corporate branding sections
  • "Top firms using us" section

* Corporate members receive beneficial rates for these services however we would require our branding and link on their website.

Definitions

In these terms and conditions the following definitions apply:

"the Company" means executive-i Limited, whose registered office is at Devonshire House, 60 Goswell Road, London, EC1M 7AD, with offices at St. John's House, 54 St. John's Square, Clerkenwell, London, EC1V 4JL.

"Site" means the executive-i Limited website which is located at www.executive-i.com.

"User" and "You" means all individuals and/ or entities accessing and using the Site for any reason.

"Service/ Services" any information and services provided by executive-i Limited through or via the Site.

General terms for all Users

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate or sell any information or part of this service for any commercial purposes. This information is for the use of members only.

Whilst executive-i uses all reasonable efforts to accurately describe job opportunities and other career information we take no responsibility for the accuracy of this information nor for any specific contact details or the availability of any email or web link.

This Company is not liable for any damage caused by reliance on any such information obtained on or through the Site. It is your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy of any information available on or through the Site.

The information and contents of this Site are provided 'as is' without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.

We do not warrant that the functions contained in the material on the Site will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this Site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or represent the full functionality, accuracy or reliability of the materials. The availability of a link or contact details does not represent an endorsement of the firm or company concerned or guarantee the accuracy of any particular job or its availability. In turn, the content or quality of any jobs posted are the not the responsibility of this Company. We cannot guarantee that these links will work at all times and have no control over the availability of the linked pages. You understand and agree that executive-i may preserve your personal information and may also disclose this personal information if required to do so by law to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce terms; (c) respond to claims infringing the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights of executive-i, its users and the public.

Virus protection

Whilst this Company takes reasonable steps to exclude viruses from the Site you are advised to run an up to date anti-virus program at all times. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system, which may occur whilst using material derived from the Site or any sites to which links are provided.

Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains how this Company protects and respects the data we collect from you. Your use of the Site constitutes acceptance of this policy.

Governing law

These terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between you and executive-i and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, and any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions, or Your use of this Site is under the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Terms of subscription

Payments and refunds

Executive sign-up - please refer to our payment terms outlined on the executive signup page.

Corporate Search firm sign-up - if you represent a search firm, no payment is required however please refer to the search firm signup page for details on how to become a supplier.

Corporate Company sign-up - if you represent a company looking to advertise employment opportunities with our members, no payment is required however please refer to the company signup page for details on how to become a supplier.

All monthly subscription fees are payable in advance by direct debit and membership is renewed automatically upon commencement of each new period in order to preserve continuity*.

Payment terms are set out comprehensively during the sign-up process. Please check you are fully aware and in complete agreement with the fees involved before payment is processed.

Payments are processed using WorldPay, a secure internet payment solution. All subscription fees quoted are inclusive of VAT.

All direct debit amounts are fixed for the duration of a members subscription, however if a member freezes their subscription and then resubscribes at a later date, they will be required to pay the subscription fees current at that specific time.

* If you wish to stop automatically renewing membership you can cancel your subscription at any time. You should retain your WorldPay login details (not related to your executive-i login details) which enables you to cancel at any time.

Renewal

All monthly subscriptions will renew automatically, unless we terminate it or you let us know you want to cancel. To stop auto-renewing, just cancel at any time

Refunds

The granting of refunds of monies paid by You to this Company is at the reasonable discretion of this Company. If You believe you are entitled to a refund, You must notify this Company promptly in writing, specifying your reasons for requesting a refund. You acknowledge that you will not be entitled to a refund (i) after the period of seven days from the date of commencement of your subscription; nor (ii) within the first seven days of your subscription in the event that you have used your subscription to obtain benefit from the Site, by downloading information from the Site; applying to jobs advertised on the Site/through the Site; contacting companies or other persons through the Site; obtaining an interview for any advertised jobs found on the Site; or finding new employment using information found on the Site.

Cancellation

If you would like to cancel your subscription and not be charged for renewal, you must cancel before your renewal date, or your membership will be renewed for the same term you initially selected at our current offering price. You may cancel by logging into your WorldPay Account; alternatively you can email us and we will cancel your subscription on your behalf.

Your membership will be cancelled should your username and password be distributed or used by others, and we have the right to refuse or cancel membership at any time.
