The post-holder will report into the Deputy Director of Finance and will support the Deputy in leading and developing the Trust’s financial management team, which includes Management Accounts, Income, Costing and Reporting.
Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, one of the largest and busiest acute hospital Trusts in the UK. They are a regional and national centre for specialist treatment, world renowned for research and clinical trials and also the local hospital for Leeds. With this in mind, they are now seeking to identify and appoint an Associate Director of Finance.
Costing and Reporting. In addition to this they will also play a key role in leading the Programme Management Office, ensuring it is able to deliver high quality advice to Clinical Service Units to identify and deliver Waste Reduction Plans.
Alongside occasionally deputising for the Director of Finance and for the Deputy Director of Finance in their absence, the post-holder will lead on aspects of Trust-wide financial performance, short and long term planning and financial sustainability for this complex c. £1.2bn turnover organisation. This will include attending and presenting at the Board sub-committees on a range of financial issues.
